If you’re in search of a new laptop for Halo Infinite then you’ve come to the right place.
While a full-blown custom rig (or the console itself) is optimal for handling the demanding system requirements of the latest Halo, some gamers will always favor the portability of a laptop.
Fortunately, with the latest next-gen processors and RTX 30-series graphics cards, gaming on a present-day laptop is better than ever before!
In this post, we will cover the best laptops for Halo Infinite on the market right now.
What is the best laptop for Halo Infinite?
10. Acer Nitro 5
CPU: i5-10300H
Graphics: RTX 3050
RAM: 8 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The Acer Nitro 5 is a budget-friendly gaming laptop that retails at a very affordable price. Despite this, it still manages to pack a 4-core, Intel i5-10300H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. Additionally, it includes a single stick of 8GB DDR4 memory, plus a 256GB NVMe SSD.
To keep costs low, Acer has had to compromise on the build quality. For example, the plastic chassis feels quite flimsy and cheap, and we noticed a substantial amount of give when pressing down a closed lid. Nevertheless, providing the unit gets well looked after; it’s not going to fall apart.
Unfortunately, the 15.6″ FHD, IPS display is one of the weakest points of the Nitro 5. Although it boasts a 144 Hz refresh rate, the 15ms+ response times are poor. We can say the same about the mediocre 62% sRGB color coverage that looks washed out and has an immediate lack of pop.
On the plus side, the hardware is certainly up to the challenge of playing Halo. During testing, it performed well without glitches, sputtering, or any of the other problems that arise from inadequate GPU functionality. That said, to improve the overall performance, you will need to upgrade the RAM.
Due to having an open slot, spilling in another 8GB stick to upgrade the RAM is never a problem. Besides this, storage is probably another area you’ll want to upgrade. Fortunately, there’s an empty M.2 Slot and 2.5″ Hard Drive Bay available, too. All in all, it’s a decent value laptop for Halo Infinite.

9. MSI Stealth 15M
CPU: i7-11375H
Graphics: RTX 3060
RAM: 16 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The MSI Stealth 15M is a strikingly thin and lightweight, entry-level gaming laptop. Powered by a 4-core, 8-thread, 11th-Gen Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, it finds the perfect balance of portability/ performance while retaining an affordable price.
Straight away, you will appreciate the 15Ms’ clean and stylish design. The aluminum-clad exterior looks especially elegant, particularly with the Mystic-Dragon logo engraved into the top. Moreover, apart from the single-zone keyboard, no RGB illumination is found anywhere on the chassis.
Featuring a 15.6″ FHD, 144 Hz display, the screen runs smooth and is a comfortable size for gaming. We particularly like that this is a matt IPS screen so there isn’t any reflection/ glare. Ours did need some color calibration out of the box but this is easy to fix through the Dragon Center software.
Thanks to the latest hardware on show, the 15M can handle the most popular games today. Keep In mind that MSI has capped the RTX 3060 at 65W so don’t go expecting the highest performance. Nevertheless, it’s still more than capable of a playable FPS on Halo Infinite, even at ultra settings.
It’s worth noting that one of the biggest cons of the MSI Stealth 15M is its small, three-cell, 52W battery. This is only good for a couple of hours with moderately intensive use. On the plus side, it will give you approximately five hours during light work, if you’re only going to be typing and browsing.

8. ASUS TUF Dash F15
CPU: i5-11400H
Graphics: RTX 3050
RAM: 16 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The Asus TUF Dash F15 is an affordable, lightweight gaming laptop that offers fantastic efficiency and battery life. Much like the Stealth 15M, It boasts a 6-core and 12 thread i5-11400H CPU (capable of a 4.8 GHz boost), an NVIDIA RTX 3050 4 GB GPU, plus 32 GB of DDR4 memory.
In terms of the design, the TUF Dash F15 has a clean black finish with a metal lid and a standard plastic interior. Weighing just 4.41 lbs, the laptop is on the lighter side, which makes it great for gaming on the go. Moreover, at 0.78” chassis, the super-slim size can slide right into a backpack.
The TUF Dash F15 has a 15.6″ Full HD resolution screen with a respectable 144 Hz refresh rate. This is an IPS panel that has an average color gamut and contrast ratio (when you consider the price). For specs, the display offers a mediocre sRGB: 62.5%, Adobe: 47.34%, and 300 nits of brightness.
During testing, we found this laptop had no problems running Halo Infinite on the multiplayer beta. On ultra-settings (1080p), the game hovered at around 70-85 fps. Naturally, this number was considerably higher on medium settings with a frame rate of anywhere between 100-115 fps.
Unfortunately, the Dash F15’s 6-core / 12-thread processor does bottleneck the performance of its mighty RTX 3050 (80W) graphics card. However, in return, it works great on the battery. With the power saver option enabled, the 4-cell 76W battery can last up to eight hours at a time.

7. Lenovo Legion 5
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H
Graphics: RTX 3050
RAM: 16 GB
Screen: 15″
The Lenovo Legion 5 is a popular mid-priced option that finds a good balance between size, build quality, and performance. Featuring a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti graphics, it’s a top choice for experiencing the latest triple-A games.
Despite being made of plastic, the build quality feels solid and especially robust. After pressing down on the chassis, we didn’t hear a single creak and there’s not too much flex a single point. Moreover, weighing 5.28 pounds, it’s far from a lightweight device, but it’s not overly heavy, either.
The screen itself is a 15.6-inch, Full-HD, IPS display. This performs up to 165Hz refresh rate with a 3ms (OD) response time. As for the picture, it looks beautiful, with crisp detail, and rich colors. This is thanks to a 100% sRGB color accuracy, 300 nits of brightness, and a high 1500:1 contrast ratio.
In terms of performance, the 3050 TI and Ryzen 7 5800H combo work surprisingly well, though the CPU does exceed the capability of the GPU. On Cinebench, it achieved a multi-core score of 11256, which is great for a laptop. With this hardware, you’ll have no issues running Halo on ultra settings.
Finally, we also like that the 4-zone RGB TrueStrike keyboard is comfortable to use and the Mylar trackpad is responsive. Besides this, the Legion 5 integrates A 720p webcam (with e-shutter), as well as a pair of 2W speakers. The integrated speakers are only so-so but that’s pretty much expected.
Overall, this Halo Infinite laptop is definitely a step up over the previous two options.

6. HP Omen 16
CPU: i7-13700HX
Graphics: RTX 4060
RAM: 64 GB
Screen: 16.1″
The HP Omen 16 is a mid-priced, all-rounder gaming laptop that can handle both new and popular PC games. As the successor to the Omen 15, it comes with a slightly larger screen. Moreover, under the hood is a powerful 16-Core, 13th Gen Intel processor and a 40-series graphics card.
Aesthetically, the Omen 16 looks relatively simple with a matt gray finish throughout the chassis. On the front is Omens diamond gradient logo, which lights up and looks quite sleek. The generic design makes this laptop suitable for taking to work/ college and playing Halo Infinite during a lunch break.
In terms of the build quality, this is decent but it could be better. One area where the Omen 16 is let down is its hinges (same type as the Omen 15) that seem to struggle with the increased screen size. Upon opening the device, we found any little knock to the screen resulted in quite a bit of wobble.
The display itself is a Full-HD IPS panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, a few things about this are not wildly impressive. For starters, it has a rather slow 7ms response time. Furthermore, while the 100% sRGB shows good color coverage, it only has 300 nits of brightness.
On the plus side, the Omen 16 has a generous amount of external I/O ports including a USB 4 with Thunderbolt 4. In addition to this, there’s 3 x USB 3.0 Type-A’s, an HDMI 2.1 mini DisplayPort, and an RJ-45 jack. We also like that there’s a multi-format SD card reader for quick access to your files.

5. Acer Predator Helios 300
CPU: Intel i7-11800H
Graphics: RTX 3060
RAM: 32 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The Acer Predator Helios 300 is a high refresh rate gaming laptop that flaunts some solid features. Armed with a GeForce RTX 30-Series GPU, an 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and a dedicated Turbo key above the Numpad, it has everything you need to obliterate the opposition.
The Turbo mode on this laptop is sure to give Halo Infinite gamers a huge advantage. Activating this does two main things. Firstly, it sets the fan speed to 100% to prepare for a rise in temperatures. Secondly, it changes the overclock setting in the Acer predator app from normal to extreme.
If you’re wondering what the overclock does, essentially, this siphons power from the processor and sends it straight to the GPU for an increase in performance. As a result, you can expect a 10-20 FPS increase in frame rates during the game, compared to what was previously ever possible.
Apart from featuring a Turbo key, the Helios 300 has an RGB keyboard and a slightly off-centered touchpad. The full-width keyboard is great for gaming with keys that feel soft yet light to the touch. Moreover, we especially like that the backlight has four zones for a lovely rainbow effect.
As for the display, the Helios 300 equips a 144 Hz, FHD, IPS panel with a speedy 3ms OD response time. In terms of picture quality, the IPS panel has great colors with a coverage of 95% sRGB. At 300 nits of brightness the screen is a little dim, but that’s only really going to be a problem when outside.
Finally, for memory and storage, the Helios 300 includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory, a 1GB PCIe SSD, plus a 1TB HDD. What’s nice is that there is an empty M.2 slot if you want to add another SSD. Unfortunately, though, if you want to install it, this will void the Acer one year warranty.

4. ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS
Graphics: RTX 3070
RAM: 16 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is a versatile gaming laptop that combines power and portability. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, it’s more than capable of running every modern current-year title that’s available right now.
The design itself is sleek, streamlined, and light enough to fit into a backpack. Constructed from magnesium alloy and aluminum, ASUS has managed to reduce the weight to just 4.1 pounds. At 0.78″, the thickness is also very competitive, when compared to other top laptop gaming brands.
To offer a flexible viewing experience, the G15 utilizes a 180° ErgoLift hinge. This reveals the 165 Hz. QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS display. As for the picture quality, the colors are strikingly rich and sure to draw you deep into the action. This is due to a 100% sRGB coverage as well as 350 nits of brightness.
In terms of performance, this laptop has no problems running Halo Infinite with decent benchmarks at its native QHD resolution. On ultra-settings we found that its runs at a very strong 92 fps. However, when in recommended settings, this broke 124 fps on the less demanding campaign.
Thanks to ROG’s intelligent cooling system (with six heat pipes and dual arc flow fans); you’ll also be glad to know that the G15 offers impressive thermal capabilities. On a turbo load, we found that the GPU temps remained below 75C. As a result, you won’t have to worry about overheating.
Finally, it’s worth pointing out a few extra features that we particularly like from this hardware. For starters, the G15 has an advanced two-way AI Noise cancelation that does a great job of capturing your voice. Besides this, the speakers sound really good, which is quite rare for a gaming laptop.

3. Lenovo Legion 5 Pro
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H
Graphics: RTX 3070
RAM: 32 GB
Screen: 16″
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is a solidly built gaming laptop that offers pro-level performance. It takes advantage of an eight-core, 16 thread, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU capable of a 4.4 GHz boost clock. In addition to 32GBs of RAM, and a high-resolution GeForce RTX 3070 8GB graphics card.
Besides the obvious power, the Legion 5 Pro makes a name for itself as the world’s first 16” QHD gaming laptop with a 165 Hz refresh rate. Compared to the other 15” offerings on this list, the 16:10 aspect ratio here is a unique approach, giving you even more screen real estate to play on.
There’s no denying that the larger 16” IPS display looks drop-dead gorgeous. Calibrated by Pantone, the colors are accurate out of the box and sure to blow you away. In terms of specs, it covers 100% sRGB, 77 Adobe RGB, and 78 DCIP3. On top of that, it boasts a superb 500 nits of peak brightness.
Another highlight of the Legion is its TrueStrike RGB Keyboard. This is a full-size keyboard that has a dedicated section for the arrow keys and slightly concave keys. As for the typing experience, we particularly like that the soft-landing switches have a fast response and a natural, tactile feel.
The RGB backlighting span’s across 4-zones and looks beautiful as it shines through the keycap legends. Using the Corsair IQ software, a neat feature is being able to sync the colors with the logo on the front of the chassis. It’s also possible to turn this on/ off by tapping the FN and L key.
Finally, you’ll appreciate that the Legion 5 Pro equips a pair of 2W Harman speakers, a 720p webcam (with an e-shutter), and a 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD. Overall, if build quality, power, and screen quality matter the most to you; then there’s a lot to like about this laptop for Halo Infinite.

CPU: i7-11800H
Graphics: RTX 3080
RAM: 32 GB
Screen: 15.6″
The Alienware M15 R6 is a high-end gaming laptop capable of boundary-breaking visuals. To achieve this, it comes equipped with a 15.6-inch, 240 Hz QHD resolution display. Additionally, it features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU that utilizes NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
Besides this, the m15 R6 equips an Intel Core i7-11800H CPU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Unlike the previous iterations of Alienware laptops, we particularly like that it is now possible to replace the RAM. It’s also possible to extend the storage by adding a second NVMe bay.
Much Like the Legion 5 Pro, the display is a highlight of this hardware. With a color gamut of 99% DCI-P3 and 400 nits, the colors are vibrant are bright. Moreover, due to the QHD resolution, the visuals are incredibly sharp. Halo Infinite won’t have ever looked this breathtaking before.
The high 240Hz refresh rate is another big selling point. Fortunately, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU can handle the FPS without breaking a sweat. As we were testing, the game never slowed or stuttered, even during the most intense moments. Moreover, we didn’t notice any screen tearing, whatsoever.
Thanks to Alienwares’ Cryo-Tech cooling technology, the temperatures were also impressive. During heavy usage, the GPU and CPU combo stayed within expected temperatures. At room temps (22°C), the CPU stayed below 75°C and the GPU never rose above 80°C at any given time.
Finally, the majority of the ports are on the back of the chassis inside Alienwares’ stunning rim of RGB lighting. Here you will find a Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 Output, and a Type-A USB 3.2. Additionally, two more USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports are on the side to bring the total up to three.
Overall, the Alienware M15 R6 is an incredible gaming laptop that excels for Halo Infinite.
