Dakotaz is an elite level Fornite player, renowned for his legendary sniping, and spontaneous catchphrases such as: “be careful and we hit those”! Unlike many of the other top streamers on Twitch, Dakotaz chooses not to broadcast using a face-cam, and instead relies on his skills as a player to do the talking.
One of the main reasons why he’s been able to grow his followers at such an exponential pace is because of the sheer number of hours he pumps into the game. Just a few months back he had a follower count of around $2.9 million, and since then his number have grown to over 4 million!
Outside of gaming, Dakotaz likes to keep most of his private information quite private. He’s rumored to of moved to France after breaking up with his ex to find solitude away from the States.
His ever-growing follower count has helped him to achieve collaborations with popular companies like Logitech and G FUEL. His concentration on a single game for such a long time has made him quite famous within the Fortnite communities.
6. “TimTheTatman” – Timothy John Betar

TimTheTatman likes to have a good rage while playing his favorite First-person-shooter games. Tim has done a great job of gaining followers at a rapid pace. He first started out streaming on Twitch in 2012 while originally working 40 hours a week, but managed to turn it into a full-time career just two years on.
Tim picked up a lot of gaming traction with the introduction of Fortnite, which he played religiously for the next few years. In 2018 this had helped him to win the Gamers’ Choice Awards for an “excellence in video games”, coming out on top above other big names such as Shroud and Ninja.
Although he initially just stuck to Fortnite, which is still up there with some of his most-watched videos, he now plays a variety as well. Tim has a huge love for video games and is massively appreciative of his journey to fame. He considers himself to be “living out a dream” and wouldn’t change it for the world.
His collaborations with various brands such as; Audio-Technica, Monster Energy, and Razer have helped him to become even more popular. This is not just in the gaming community but also among big-name advertisers.
5. “Summit1g” – Jaryd Lazar

Summit1g is an American Twitch streamer and a former semi-pro CS:GO player.
He is widely recognized as an old-school “variety” gamer, and one of the first streamers to make it big on Twitch way back when it was still “Justin.tv”. In 2012 he started streaming regularly to inspire the likes of Shroud, and other big names that wanted to follow in his footsteps.
One of the reasons he has become so popular is due to playing cumulatively for up to 70 hours per week! As a result, his FPS channel is the third most-watched channel on Twitch. Summit has always played for the love of the game beyond anything else which is why he is still in the spotlight today.
His associations with brands like Monster Energy have gained him even more accolades. If you’re looking to follow a gamer who indulges in multiple games in the FPS genre, then you shouldn’t ignore Summit1g.

4. “Myth” – Ali Kabbani

Nationality: American
Myth is the captain for Team SoloMid’s Fortnite Team, and is the youngest streamer on our list. His popularity shot up on the platform following the success of Fortnite, where he previously had less than 1k subs before the explosion of the game.
Myths reputation is built upon his superhuman Fortnite building skills, which helped to popularize the style of play used by just about every top-level pro. He often functions as an avatar for some of the younger viewers on the platform, who often take inspiration in his gameplay.
Recently Myths been getting a fair bit of stick for his “scrimming” performances and is sometimes viewed as a better streamer than an actual competitive pro. He is still however young and has a lot to learn, so he will no doubt bring some big surprises in the upcoming years.
With over 150 different videos, Myth has earnt himself collaborations with many of the famous brands including; Logitech, Geico, and HTC. He has done great at keeping his followers engaged and gaining new ones at an exponential pace!
3. “Shroud” – Michael Grzesiek
Followers: Approx. 7.0 million
Age: 25
Nationality: Canadian
Shroud began his gaming career by competing with several ESEA teams, before signing as a “pro”, and finally transitioning to streaming.
His most recognized achievements include his time as a competitive CS:GO player for Cloud 9, where he led them to 2nd place in ESL One Cologne 2017, and a first-place finish at ESL Pro League Season 4 in 2016.
On October 24th, 2019, Shroud Signed an exclusive deal with Mixer after streaming full time on Twitch for over two years – a “big-money” move that shook the streaming industry to its core. He is one of the very few gamers who can excel at a variety of different games and is known to play video games for more than 60 hours every week!
Shroud is sponsored by various brands, including “Madrinas Coffee”, which has even launched Shroud’s own “Insane Cappuccino”. Due to his numerous collaborations and achievements in high-profile competitions, he has become quite famous in the gaming sphere!
2. “Tfue” – Turner Ellis Tenney
Followers: Approx 7.9 million
Age: 21
Nationality: American
Tfue is a former pro-esports athlete for “FaZeClan”, after having a bust-up with the company.
Similar to many other streamers on our list, Tfue is yet another gamer who transitioned to Fortnite just as it was exploding in popularity, which later led him to joining FaZe. Before raising to fame he played numerous games professionally including Z1 Battle Royale and PUBG for ‘Rogue’ team.
His success was furthered from this point onwards by participating in a series of weekly tournaments titled hosted by UMG. Tfue’s achievements on the esports platform include winning four consecutive weekly tournaments that helped catapult him into the streaming spotlight.
He then later went on to win multiple tournaments including two solo Fall Skirmish Series in a row, and the Week 6 finale (TwitchCon), taking home a prize pool of $515,000!
Unfortunately Tfue underachieved at last year’s Fortnite World Cup, placing 67th out of the top 100 finalists. Still, his stature has not been knocked, and he will no doubt bounce stronger than ever next year!
1. “Ninja” – Richard Tyler Blevins
Followers: Approx 14.3 million
Age: 28
Nationality: American
Ninja is another ‘ex-Twitch’ streamer, and arguably the most famous gamer in the world. Similar to Shroud, he has now also moved over to Mixer. Known for his goofy but energetic personality, Ninja is popular among gamers all over the world.
He first got into competitive tournaments after his school life, which included playing Halo 3 professionally for various esports organizations In 2009, including Cloud9, Renegades, and Team Liquid.
In 2011 he started streaming, and began to branch out away from Halo to play an assortment of other titles such as: H1Z1, and later on to Fortnite, just as the game was exploding.
Blevins has achieved some of the biggest tournament achievements in the gaming world to date. Here are just some of his accomplishments over the years: 1st Place Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament E3 201, 1st Place PUBG Squads Gamescom Invitational 2017 and 2nd Place H1Z1 5s Dreamhack 2017
He has risen to the top though having a decade of gaming experience of behind him and continues to work upon his success.
